Overview

Floodlight was introduced to Mike Hassard in the summer of 2005.  We quickly recognized how personable Mike was and how passionate he was about the financial industry.

The Challenge

Mike had been in the financial industry for fifteen years and felt his marketing was stale. He was experimenting with a blog but at the time was restricted by financial industry rules as to what he could say and do.  Mike wanted to attract a new demographic to his business but his message was not getting across. Mike sometimes cut corners with the result that he missed opportunities.

The Solution

Floodlight met with Mike Hassard and in our assessment phase identified that he was struggling  because he was not doing enough to keep himself top of mind with his past, present and future clientele.

6. With encouragement from Floodlight, Mike raised his Celebrity Status by becoming President of the Apple Triathlon and becoming a regular participant in the OBRG (Okanagan Business Referral Group) .  
7. Floodlight guided Mike through the development of a new marketing plan including the increase of his speaking engagements to his target audience.

In creating a system Mike could follow he found that he could spend more time with friends and family while still achieving his business goals. Mike has found the critical balance in his life.
